Dorset For Singing Have a Huge Heart!

On the 29 March 2017 DFS Weymouth and DFS Dorchester joined forces at URC Dorchester and looked like this, Thanks to Carol and Phil - a wonderful pic of us all ...

But of course we sounded much better, and although or audience was moderate in number, Ed reported on Facebook the next day, "So proud of Dorset for Singing, great concert last night raising a grand total of £299.85 for Diverse Abilities."

Many biscuits were gobbled and some fabulous solo/duet/and trio acts performed too, in the name of love, and community. We heard about what Diverse Abilities do, and you can find out more just clicking that link. Some people stopped me to ask what was happening with My Reckless Love, but dont worry. Its the first song on our new album ....

Then of course the Easter holidays were upon us, but many members of both choirs came and performed together with others on Friday, 21st April, for a night of Busking, Wool Village Hall, and before he could even put himself to bed Ed popped onto facebook to add, "Thank you so much to the lovely singers and supporters of Dorset for Singing together with the Drax Guitar Club for tonight's concert in Wool. We raised £680 for the Purbeck Workshop who are dedicated to providing creative escapes to those touched by cancer within the Dorset area." And that's all really amazing and fantastic."Big thanks to our lovely choir member, Chris Smith for organising the concert," continued Ed ....

Finally don't forget, the community choir with the biggest heart return to rehearsals on Wednesday, 26th April (Dorchester) and Thursday, 27th April (Weymouth & Portland), keep singing and Thanks for sharting the LOVE XXX
